Riddle. 10 points to first person to get it.

A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:

The Wife said she was sleeping.

The Cook was cooking breakfast.

The Gardener was picking vegetables.

The Butler was getting the mail.

The Maid was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

Wife because most murders are related to their victims and she SAID she was asleep, however was able to phone the police immediately and lets face it who gets up early sunday morning apart from staff who WAS doing the things on their alibi.  The butler could have gone for the mail if they lived on an island and it took a while to get to the postie (clutching at straws now to be right)

    the wife cause she called the police when she said

    she was sleeping. LOL idk ahaha


  10. The obvious choice would be the cook because he has access to knives and stuff but he didn't do it. and the wife SAID she was sleeping everybody else just WAS doing their actvities. The wife did it and they knew because she was the closest to him at the time. The maid was problem on the either side of the house cleaning the butler was outside getting mail and the gardener was outside too and the cook was in the kitchen. That's my guess. Hope it's right

  13. But in England they have a newspaper on Sundays called "The Mail on Sunday", so if I was the Butler, I would sue the police for wrongfull arrest LOL

  17. The maid, she was cleaning the evidence up, but the CSI team that came in to the crime scene geather the evidence picked up what was going on  and the maid was arested right on spot. The maid was pist off because he would'nt leave his wife for her.WOW!  And the mail doesnt run on sundays

  21. i sort of realised that it is probably the butler because he is getting the mail BUT it says that the man was FOUND on sunday not killed on sunday, maybe it was the wife because sleeping is not that good of an alibi and she called the police to make it more believeable that she is innocent

  24. The fact that someone said they were somewhere and they were not does not prove they were the murderer. So the only way is to get Miss Marples in to sort it out.
