  1. she has six lefts

    six rights

three of the lefts are brown three are black

three of the rights are brown three are black

it cant be one, as thats not a pair

it cant be two as one could be brown one could be black or they could be left or both right

it cant be three, as she could pull out three lefts and no rights

it cant be four as they could still be all left or all right

it cant be five as they could be all left or all right

it cant be six as they could still be all left or all right

it must be seven as if six of them where lefts then three would be black three would be brown, the next glove would be a black or brown right, which would make a pair.

  2. 13.

She has six of each hand in both colors.  She could pull six black lefts out and then six brown rights out and still not have a matching pair. But if she pulls one more glove out it will have to be a right hand glove.  Considering she's already pulled all of the black lefts and all of the brown lefts, any right hand glove she pulls out will match one of the lefts she already has.
