Im thinking of buying a cheap motorcycle (under $3500), to ride to work. I want to buy a new one from say the suzuki store right down my street. What do you guys recommend? I cant have anything really big because im not that heavy. Im 6'1' and weigh 130 lbs. Im only going to ride it on sunny days and somtimes at night time. I also only ride it about 4 miles to work and never have to go above 45 mph. Thanks alot!

  1. Dude, seriously, 4 miles?  Why would you want a motorized "bike".   I'm not sure what the conditions are like on the road (i.e. bike lane, bike route) but maybe consider cycling - riding a 'bike' to work!

No gas, no insurance - and for under $3500 you could get the sweetest, slickest road bike out there and some killer gear and be styling.  4 miles would hardly take 15 minutes - you won't even have time to break a sweat.

You're out in the elements regardless so something to think about.

  2. I would recommend the 250 sport bike, plenty fast and very economical...

  3. I would just buy the lightest one they have...and if I got angry at someone on the way to where I was going, I would pick the motorcycle up and throw it at them.
