I just got my bike running nicely, then I unregistered it. It's just way too expensive to pay $800 annually for a 250cc when weather only permits 3 months of riding in the year.

Apparently insurance is supposed to go up another %9 here next year. That really sucks, maybe once I win the lottery I won't care. I'm with you guys in spirit though, maybe I'll start my bike and rev it on the driveway a bit, haha!

Hi Guardrailjim:

Since you had helped me out with my previous dilemma, the least that I can do is to give my input.  I am on disability  so to work is out of the question (for now anyway).  However, my scooter should be on the road very shortly and I can assure you that I will be riding it every day until the first snow fall.

As soon as I am on the road again, you will be the second to know (myself being the first).

no  i  dont   only  because   i  drive  a  delivery  truck   to  work  but  when  i  have  a  real  small  delivery  one  that  i  can  put  on  the  back  of  my  bike  i  will  make  it  on  my  bike

My guy has rode to work everyday for the past 2 years. He has a Shadow and has 45,000 miles on it. He pays about 5.00 a day for gas, less for parking and no toll cause he is his own car pool ;-)
