I'm going to fiesta texas on a choir trip tomorrow, and i'm kind of coaster-phobic, but i don't want to miss out on all of the fun. plus i'll be with these two girls who LOVE roller coasters. What roller coasters are the most fun, even for someone with a fear of heights, like me?

  1. Fiesta Texas is a big cirlce, u can't miss nething. I recommend the Superman ride.

  2. Well if you are going to skip the BIG coasters, the one coaster you must do is Roadrunner Express. It's actually a BLAST despite it being relatively short. Not too tall, but it is quite intense.

If you don't mind going upside and height is your only concern, try Poltergeist. It's a coaster that lauches you into a spagetti bowl of track and has 4 inversions (upside down elements). You don't really have a real sense of how high you are. How, the coaster is VERY intense.

The best coaster in the park is the highest -- Superman Krypton Coaster. It's not as bad as it looks. In fact it is quite graceful and fun, not too scary IMHO. I know several people who don't like coasters, but rode it and really liked it. Don't rule that one out.

I also have a fear of heights, but that doesn't affect me too much on a roller coaster because of the constant movement. I have a harder time riding a ferris wheel!

  3. road runner and the s****. doo ride chilidish but fun then do to the taz swings again childish but fun

  4. go to my site uscarnys.com and click on events, then click on texas fairs and festivals, then click the fiesta and you will find what carnival is doing the spot. I believ it is the Jimmy Reed Show . I am thinking the largest traveling coaster is the Zyklon

made by Pinfari standing at at least 30' up. you can find it here http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coa... .

  5. Start out with Roadrunner Express, which is a mine-train style coaster which isn't too intense. Roadrunner was my first coaster!

Another good ride to start with is Tony Hawk's Big Spin. Tony Hawk is a family coaster that doesn't feature extreme heights or speeds. This is a spinning coaster, and if you have the weight distributed just right, you and your friends can get alot of spinning action. This ride is all about having fun, and you will get some good laughs as you spin throughout the course.

Once you get a little more used to things, you can go for the larger rides. Rattler is a tall wooden coaster that looks intimidating, but it isn't so bad. Superman Krypton Coaster is my favorite in the park, and this ride is floorless, meaning that you can see the track below your dangling feet. Superman has a HUGE vertical loop.

Poltergeist does not have a traditional lift hill, instead this ride launches you from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds into a maze of twists, turns, and inversions. This ride does not have any huge drops, but it still can be quite intense.

There is also Boomerang at the front of the park. If you are afraid of heights, avoid riding in the back of the train the first time, as the back cars reach the full height of the first lift. Riders travel up this hill backwards, are dropped into a cobra-roll inversion, and then through a loop, and up a second hill. Trains are released, and the ride is repeated backwards, eventually coming to a stop in the loading station.

Goliath is the newest coaster, but is not open at this time. This is an inverted(meaning that trains are suspended below the track) coaster.

    Have fun!
