  1. The best rides for teens in the Magic Kingdom would be:

    Space Mountain

    Splash Mountain

    Big Thunder Railroad

    Haunted Mansion

    Pirates of the Carribean

    Mickey's Philarmagic (3D show)

    Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin

The best time to go on rides is first thing in the morning when the park opens, the next best time is at about 12-1:30 when people go back to the rooms for a nap or swim in the pool or are eating lunch another good time to go is during the 3 pm and night time parades.

Another good thing to do is to use Disney's free fastpass service at the headlining rides (ie: the ones I mentioned above) and if you're staying at a hotel on Disney property then ask when you check-in for the list of extra magic hours. This gives Disney resort guests extra time in the theme parks in the morning and at night. (it's also free)

    Have a great trip!

  2. In the world of tomorrow try the Lilo and Stitch ride.  It's supposed to be scary and for older kids and adults.  Thunder Mountain Railroad is not the scariest roller coaster, but it is fun.  There is a water ride near Thunder Mountain Railroad that you will definitely want to check out.  Pirates of the Caribbean you might like.  Kind of a boat ride with a thrill at the end.  Not a big thrill, but more thrill than It's a Small World!  Of course Space Mountain.  There's a good arcade near space mountain too.

I would recommend going as early as you can so you don't have to wait so long. But disney also has this FastPass (I think that's what it is called).  You get a ticket with a time to come back.  When you come back at that time the waiting isn't so long.  Fastpass doesn't cost anything.  It's a great feature!!

Even though some rides are "kiddie rides" you may still want to try some of them because in my experience they are fun for all ages!!  The Buzz Lightyear ride in the World of Tomorrow (near space mountain) is a ride EVERYONE loves.  You go through shooting aliens.  There is a rocket ride also in that same area.  I don't know what it is called, but you have to take an elevator to get up to it so it is really high up.  The haunted house (I have not been in that one but a lot of people like it).

If you have a choice of park too I would recommend Epcot.  It's great for older kids.  It has Everest and Mission to Mars which are good older kid rides.  It also has Soarin which is amazing and Test Track which EVERY age loves.  It also has a lot of interesting things like the Land, the Living Seas and the replicas of world cities which is fun.  It's like traveling around the world!

    Have fun!!!

  3. just about every ride in the magic kingdom is awesome.

i'm 22 and have been to disney world 44 times in my life.

there aren't many kiddie rides at the magic kingdom in my opinion just rides for all ages.

    there's:

    pirates of the caribbean

    jungle cruise

    its a small world

    thunder mountain

    space mountain

    splash mountain

    stitch's great escape

    the haunted mansion

    peter pan's flight

    snow white

    winnie the pooh

    tomorrow land transit authority

    enchanted tiki room

    mickey's philharmagic

    carousel of progress

the scenic train ride around themagic kingdom

    hall of presidents

    country bear jamburee.

the only real kiddie rides as far as i'm concerned are:

    goofy barnyard mini rollercoaster

    dumbo

    aladin's flying carpets

    tea cups

    laughing floor.

and i wouldn't call mickey's toon town fair kiddish unless you think you are to old to meet the characters. like mickey, minnie, donald, goofy, chip n dale, the disney princesses.

as far as not having long lines i'd get to the park when it opens and head right for fantasy land, then go to adventure and frontierlands next, then go to liberty sqaure, then over to tomorrow land,

and get a fastpass of space montain definetly.

there are fastpasses for many of the bigger attractions

you just put your park ticket into the fastpass machine and it gives you your ticket back and a slip saying what time to comeback to the ride to get into the fastpass line which you usually won't wait for more than 0-15 minutes to get on the ride.

and go on the rides while the parades are going on.

    BTW.

"bri b" said to go on rock n rollercoaster but that is not at magic kingdom that is at hollywood studios.

also "the family lighthouse" said that expedition everest is at epcot but it is at animal kingdom and its really not that great.

  4. Space Mountain - hands down still one of the best rides.

Other than that, there isn't much in the Magic Kingdom anymore.  You can scan your admission ticket at the entrance to the ride to get an assigned time to come back and ride it so you don't have to wait in line so long.

  5. i would recommend Universal Studios/ Islands of Adventure instead, if your a teenager. it's also still in orlando so not much of a difference in travel expenses. but if you are still interested in disney, i would recommend any shows. all the disney shows are phenomenal. or, if you happen to go to Epcot; test track & space ship earth would be my top 2 picks there. MGM; the tower of terror &rock-in' roller coaster. Magic kingdom; mount Everest, River rafts (only if you'd want to get wet) and i'm not too sure about the other parks, i haven't been there in a while.

  6. Best time is first thing in the morning.  Use the Fastpass system on rides that have it.

The best MK rides: Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Mickey's Philharmagic

Personally, I like the "kiddie" rides in Fantasyland, but if you are determined not to ride, then that is the area to avoid - Fantasyland.

  7. space mountain is the best ride go as early as possible in the morning summer time is packed there winter time is less packed  but you should try everything if you've never been there its a small world flight of peter pan and pirates of the Caribbean are all classics

  8. Get a FASSPASS! They are seriously the best. You get them and it has a time like 10 30- 11 30. Between that time...you go back and a place is saved for you. So the 2 hour wait...with a fasspass can limit that down to say 20 minutes.

I advise you get there fresh and early (lines will be shorter)

About the rides...all the ones that take you in like a little cart and drives you through are cute. Like one for snow white. Also, there is this 3d movie...so cool! You smell the pie they show...and you feel the water spray on you.

Everything and anything there is great for any age and a lot of fun!

Dont forget to visit back at night for the fireworks!

  9. OMG! Do NOT go on the It's a Small World ride! You will want to commit suicide after wards! That song just does not stop and then you have it in your head all day and it will make you go crazy! Trust me and save yourself. Just skip the Small World ride. It's cute when you are young and cute when you get older (like grandparent) or you have kids but if you are a teenager....just say no!!!

  10. Rockin' roller coaster!!!!!

dont waste your time on space mountain its a long wait as isnt worth it

  11. Vivi--see the thumbnail on this page.  It ranks all the rides and attractions at Disney World by age group. It's color-coded by park. The ones you are looking for are on the right side.  In addition, the very best are underlined!! http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Your basic strategy is to get to the park before it opens and go on the underlined rides.  The next best least crowded times are during the parade(s), during the fireworks if they are on the night you are there, and the last hour before closing.

If you want a more structured view of how to spend your time at the Magic Kingdom, check out the Walt Disney World itinerary for your dates from the links on this page: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...  The dates likely won't match, and the itineraries are designed for WDW resort guests, but you can see the basic strategies from them!

Hope this helps and have a great trip!!  Dave

  12. first of all .. even if you dont care about kiddie rides just do them anyway if you have enough time :]  ( whinnie the pooh, peter pan, snow white) you have to experience everything on your first trip to Disney :]

anyway .. all the rides are great !

    space mountain

    splash mountain

    thunder mountain

mikes laugh floor (not a ride but really funny)

    tea cups

    small world

    Mickeys Phillar Magic

    haunted mansion

    buzz lightyear ride

    pirates of the carribean

i love everything in Disney but the lilo & stitch ride was kind of dissapointing .. it wasn't much fun and the seats kinda hurt

i know im probably forgetting some but they are all very fun :]

in the early morning the lines aren't too too bad but other than that a fastpass is a good idea for long lines :]

    anyway have fun !!

& definately stay to see the wishes fireworks...they are amazing !
