Riding Gloves??

Question

What brand or type of riding gloves do you like? What would you recommend to me?

they are the ultimate BEST!!!

the leather is VERY soft and supple

you feel everything with them. they have fantastic grip!!

and they arent made of really thick leather they

are extremly comfortable and flexible!!! in sections of the fingers they have a bit of spandex type material in them to add stretch too!! they are great gloves and they hold up to EVERYTHING! hey are also perfect for summer

riding and everyday riding, plus they wont tear like nylon if youre jumping, they are much stronger.  =D

Me, personally, I just buy the really cheap $5 ones with grips, they last a lot longer than you would expect. I really enjoy them, and they do protect your hands from rope burn or from your horse just pulling the reins from your hands. You can buy them from most tack shops in your area.

I have fancy leather gloves for shows and such, but for everyday riding I vastly prefer the cheap cotton equestrian gloves.  They have reinforced rein fingers, little pebbles on the fingers and palms for good grip, an elastic/velcro closure, and come in many colors.

They're more flexible than leather.  They're cooler in the summer, absorb sweat, and can be thrown in the washer.  They're actually warmer in the winter, especially if you wear two pairs.

They cost $2 -$6 a pair.

They are deerskin. they are called "Good Hands" they were a Christmas present 2 years ago and seem to get better with use. I love these gloves.

SSG has the best gloves everr. my favorite are the fingerless eventer gloves (because im an eventer) but theyre also good for people who arent eventers too. and theyre really cool for the summer cuz right at the tip it looks like someone just took a pair of scissors and cut across. theyre really cool tho. and really durable.
