Riding helmet?

im a beginner and I need a helmet any suggestions for a cheap good helmet

For a cheaper helmet try one of the troxel helmets with a dial a fit system.  I suggest you make sure you get the dial a fit system though.  The other kind they make stinks because you use little foam strips which stick to the inside to adjust the helmet to your head.

if you live in the US. even then, you can order the things in too if they become cheaper than where you live. cheap and good helmets, especially for beginners, can be found at your local Tractor Supply Company. You can even try the company Dubin (which can be found on-line). When i have a beginner that is jsut looking to ride and is starting out, and they do not have a riding helemt, i have them wear a bicycle helmet for the first few rides (with their parents permission and there) so the parents can find out if it is a "good" investment.

IRH helmets are great, Ian miller actually wears one! they look classy in the show ring, and stand up to rain, and sun.

I've seen them sell for $115 at local tack stores

-u dont need a fancy helmet to be good

-good helmets arent cheap =(

-u dont need a velvet helmet

-just go to your tack store and find the best least expensive helmet.

-if you arent sure which one to get then ask one of the people who work there to help you get one

go to your local horse tack shop and buy one, the more expencive the better.

ur riding school should had helmets.

Where do you live?

Try for an airflow helmet, like a troxel or a Harry Hall premier plus.

well i suggest getting a troxel. they aren't very expensive but they are well know for having good helmets and they have many different kinds. like they some for western, some for English, and some for making a flashy entrance to you barn.
