Riding my bike?

i have been riding my bike a lot lately because its been really sunny and nice out; now for a good excercise to burn more calories, what position should i be on the bike in order for that to happen. its a mountain bike so its pretty durable. should i stand up and pedal or sit down and pedal or what? also what kinds of foods should i eat to help burn the calories?

  1. long long rides burn the calaries big time. Just a steady 70% or so should do the trick. In the response to the foods i would not eat anything fatty, ie. Donuts etc. Try and eat Pasta its amazing stuff, try and basicially keep healthy. (that includes the vegies)
