Riding rollercoasters in very eary stages of pregnancy?

I've just come off the pill and are going to Disney, Florida in 10 weeks time. I've already 2 sons, whom I became pregnant with after at least 3 months of trying, so they'res probably only a slim chance that I may fall pregnant before going on holiday this time. If by any chance I may be only a couple of weeks pregnant when I go, do you think it would be safe to go on the rides over there, as everyone i speak to thinks absolutely not, but it has to be a fact that most women carry will on as normal until they find out they're pregnant, which can be up to 2/3 months later. Any advice/reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Why take the chance?

  2. If you think you are I would advise you to just play it safe and just take it easy.

  3. I would probably test while in Florida and stay off the rollercoasters if the result is positive . . . .but it is DISNEY!  There are loads of rides that you can go on that are not rollercoaster. . . even if if you were further along in a pregnancy!  Disney is very good about marking their rides as to whether or not they are safe for a pregnant woman.

    Have fun and baby dust!

  4. I'm no expert and i certainly wouldn't advise you to go onto rides if you know you are definitely pregnant but I have a friend who is 12 weeks pregnant and four weeks ago we went to a theme park and went on everything. Her scan and tests show her baby is healthy but obviously she had no idea she was pregnant at the time. I'd carry on with life as normal until you know you are pregnant. It wouldn't hurt to test yourself when you get there though. Wishing you luck and have a great trip.

  5. Tricky one this! It's entirely up to you.
