  1. Leupold VXII 3-9x40 duplex about $275

  2. I have a Nikon 4-12X50 Buckmaster on my Remington 700 SPS chambered in .308...... They are decent, not too expensive and have been a pleasure to use....

  3. Seriously, checkout The Sportsman's Guide website. They have some of the best deals on low-mid-high priced optics (rifle/pistol scopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, etc.) that you can find anywhere.

  4. swatrzosky or soemething like that, has the bets magnification and most eye relief. For a significantly cheap price. If your looking for a ruggid scope i would invest in beeman

  5. what do you consider cheap like cheap price or cheap quality because these things go hand in hand with each other

  6. You didn't mention what your budget is on buying a scope is. But you cant go wrong with a Leupold. I had a Winchester Model 70 7mm, that had a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm scope mounted on it. Never had any issues with the scope. Great clearity and eye relief. The Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm can be had for about $220. I also have a Savage Model 12FLV 22-250 with a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40mm mounted on it. Again... I never had an issue with the scope. I paid $199.99 at Cabela's for the Leupold Rifleman. I would not be affraid to put the Leupold Rifleman scope on a .308 caliber rifle. Both the VX-1 and Rifleman scopes carry the same lifetime warranty as the top-line models.

  7. Tasco, Bushnell.**

  8. Hmm, maybe a Nikon or Leupold Rifleman series of scope from Walmart would fit your budget. Remember, you pretty much get what you pay for as far as scopes are concerned.

  9. If it has a Weaver rail, the world is your oyster. I recommend a 3-7x30mm in any case, but it really is up to your needs. If you are hunting, any thing w/ 3-7x magnification is great for hunting as well as for target shooting (I know you asked about hunting but just in case), unless you are shooting waaaay out there, then you might want a 10x or higher. The mm rating is the diameter of the hole you look through in the scope (in case you didn't know), so depending on how much relief you want.

  10. What do you consider cheap? I think one of the best buys out there is the Burrus Fullfield II with Ballistiplex reticle. You can usually find them for $180. I have found it to be superior to the Leupold Vari X II but asking for scope advice will get you 37 different answers from 38 differrent people.

  11. This is the site where I get all of my hunting accessories.  I posted a direct link to the weapon accessory page.  Hope you find what you need!
