does this confirm Leon Haslam as a brilliant short cicuit guy,or is there time, age, quality to become a "full blown" Rossi type?

p.s.I know the family,he lives a couple of miles across the fields.Lovely family.

Nice to see a SUZZY doing well.

  1. I think he has talent. But enough to stand out from the crowd ? with things the way they are at the moment and with the talent already in MotoGP I dont think he will make it to GP level. but saying that I dont think anyone really stands out in the BSB class right now. I was impressed with Karl Harris but look how his season has turned out. I think he must have Passini blood in him somewhere. because he has had no luck whatsoever this year.

  2. Leon is a fantastic talent .......... but he jumped the gun to early.

His old man ( The great Rocket Ron ) wanted his son to race 500cc MotoGranPrix bikes and that was it.

    It cost him.

Leon has tried it all ( well not endurance ) and it seems his talent level / skill , whatever you call it, has peaked at BSB.

He will never be a Rossi. [ however saying that who ever would? ]

Yes, great family, top people, but like his old man, there is a limit.

Leon's has been stopped by talent, Ron's was stopped by ELF.

  3. Nope - Sorry I think Leon reached his peak by 2006 -

I think it's fair to say that more was always expected from leon because of his Dad -

I like Rocket Ron - he is a nice bloke with a great personality -

Leon on the other hand is the most uncharismatic personality that

    I can think of -
