Right. Im going out tonight to a party and ive like come down with cold type symptoms.Whats the best rememdy?

Plenty of fluids and simple paracetamol is as good as anything.

If the cold is definitely there I would take paracetamol.  But if you can just feel the cold coming along, I would take first defence.  

First defence is a nasal spray which prevents the cold from developing.

It seems to work.

Have a couple of Ibuprofens and a couple of Paracetamol just now.  Then i'd say plenty of cocktails when you get to the party! Have fun!

Dayquil! But I'm not sure if you can drink alcohol after taking it.

Beechams all in one, you get is a syrup and as capsules, it always zap's anything when I take them

its simple buddy......take the medicine BENADRYL and if dont wanna take then go to the party and enjoy and whenevr u think tht u've got cold, eat some ice cream wid a cold drink.......its the best advise........

I believe, that going to sleep is the only known (real) cure for the common cold.  Try that, and go out next weekend.
