Right! The time stamp was set for GMT, but it still does not work.?

We reset the time stamp to (GMT - 08:00) = Pacific Standard Time, but the messages are still posted with GMT. Does this feature work? I found another question (7 months ago) where he wanted GMT, but everything came back with PST. Go figure. Thanks for whoever answered my earlier question.

  1. I assume the way you changed your group timestamp was the following:

    - open the group page

    - go to the group Calendar,

    - General Preferences,

    - Date & Time - Time Zone

    - hit the Save button

(GMT - 08:00) = Pacific Standard Time is correct.

I recommend that you attempt to set it again.  Calendar is buggy and sometimes I have found that I have to change things twice to insure that is is done.  Also, I double check every Calendar entry for accuracy.

If your question is not for groups:

    - Can I change the time stamp on outgoing mail?

No, you currently cannot change the time stamp on your outgoing Yahoo! Business Email messages. The time stamp (located in a message's Date field) is set by the Yahoo! Mail servers in California (Pacific Time Zone, or P.S.T.).

The number with a "+" or "-" to the right of the time stamp in an email message shows by how many hours the time stamp varies from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), or World Time. For example, in the stamp below, the time stamp is seven hours behind GMT.

Note: You also cannot change the time stamp of incoming messages.

    Good luck!
