If you come up to an intersection and it has a sign that says Right Turn Signal, does that mean No Turn on Red?

  1. I have never seen a sign like that, but my guess is that there is a green right arrow for you to turn right.   If it is lit, you don't need to stop.  Otherwise, you need to stop and proceed when safe as usual.

  2. if there's also a sign that say yield you can yield but the right turn signal sign means you also get green arrow to make turn. it say no turn on red then Wait don't  yield.

  3. Never seen it. Are you sure it didn't say Right Turn Only?

Maybe it means there is a Green arrow you have to wait for to turn right. No right turn on red?

  4. if the light is set up for it yes that's what it means,in some places now you have to wait for the light to go green on the arrow to turn right,id say your right on this one, good luck.

  5. If it means there is a red arrow then yes. You can never make a right turn against a red arrow even if it's clear.

  6. You will have to look up your state law where you live.

Here in Colorado, Right turn on RED is allowed "unless there is a sign stating this  is not allowed".

Several intersections I frequent have that sign that says "Right Turn signal" and  A GREEN right arrow, but no yellow or red arrow; and that means don't slow for a right turn when the green right arrow is on, but if it is off, and the  big red light is on- stop, check, turn right .

So it depends on your state law, and the intersection lights.  If there is a red right turn arrow it is reasonable to presume that you may not make a right turn when it is lit.

Sometimes I ask a policeman, If I see one that is not busy.

  7. Never saw it worded like that, but probably you are correct.
