Right about now? what is it?

in a couple songs ive heard in the beginning someone says "right about now" its in Rockstar (Prima J) Music for Love (Mario) and When I Grow Up (Pussycat Dolls) . does anyone know what this is?

  1. Its just slang for right now somethings going to happen, just an incorrect way to state the present.


  2. It all started with a song  called "Funk Soul Brother" by Fatboy Slim. This is a dance classic, and a lot of dance tunes have added Fatboy's intro to their songs.
