  1. I've seen some people who have a + rx in one eye and a - in the other so yes it is common for one eye to be worse than another. If you are straining I would say go get an exam from an optometrist. Straining can be very bad for your eyes and your headaches.

  2. It's normal for one to be worse than the other - mine are -1.75 apart, and I knew someone who was -9 in one eye with the other fine! If your eyes are blurry then you should get yourself to an optician for an eye test and hopefully some corrective lenses (I say hopefully because if they're blurry they need correcting).

  3. Your body is not symmetrical. Including your eyes. My eyes are different as well. You sound like you need an eye exam and some glasses.  There are even words for people who have different eyes. Antimetropic people have one near sighted eyeand one far sighted eye. Anisometropic people have eyes that are really far apart in ther Rx strengths. Some people are both!
