I am being driven up the wall!

I miscarried, bled for 4 wks.

5 weeks later i had a period. I was relieved to see things going back to normal!

But yesterday, 22 days after my first period, i started to bleed a little. Not heavy, but seemed a little bit more than what implantation should be. Still didn't need any pads or anything though, it wasn't enough for that. I thought that must just be AF here early.

Was gutted, because i thought this was our month!

But the bleeding stopped, and this morning i was greeted by really thick, stretchy cm. And lots of it.

According to the net, thats a sign of ovulation right?but how could that be in my case?

Oh my god, what a confusion. Can anyone help?

  1. miscarriage can really throw your pattern out,so i wouldnt be supprised if its just not got back to normal yet.

  2. When I was TTC I looked out for every sign of OV as possible.... however from what I made out, I always had the thick, stretchy CM and passed a gungy ball like blob of CM too at one point... I too was just as confused. Leave it a while and see what happens, if you have a period then at least you know where you stand... if after a further 2 weeks no period has turned up, it may be worth while testing hun

  3. I agree...a miscarriage can sometimes throw your body out of whack. If you see fertile CM, don't waste it! BD! If it turns out that it's false CM, then at least you'll know you're covered.

    Good luck

  4. I've actually had some light bleeding DURING ovulation.  And you're right, the stretchy, egg-white-like CM is a sign of ovulation.  Get to it!  Take advantage of the fact that you know you're ovulating this month!  Having a miscarriage can throw things off for a little while so you may just have a longer cycle this time.  Good luck!
