Question:

Right of way easements and common area?

My question is it does not say easement in my deed; there is an easement 2 houses up and in front of my house the home owners assc. says they have a right to but the deed says nothing of the kind and the city and county say there property is on the other side of the fence not in my yard and the a&b person says he can come in my back yard anytime he wants we had the place up for sale and he walked in unanounced and without prior notice in writing 3 days before it says that he has to write to you in advance 3 days he didn't do this just unanounced he invaded mine and wifes privacy thats not right what if I was having a party and just walked in?

  1. I would suggest going to your county courthouse and go to the property tax office and have the plat of your property lines shown you. They will have the exact dimensions of your property and any easements if any.

    I'm not sure what a a&b person is but there are some utility duties that have a given permission to inspect, read or monitor their services granted to them by virtue of you using their services. Unless the person is causing an anoyance, there's not much you can do except call their office and request they first make contact with you or a responsible party of your household.
