I'm a 18 year old male and for the past say, 6 months or so, I've encountered moderate pain in my right t******e and the area above it in the lower abdomen after prolonged masturbation. I find this pain does not occur every time I m********e, which is only usually 2-3 times a week and it is non existent when i wake up the next morning. It's not a regular occurrence and seems to only occur randomly...

This problem has obviously caused some concern and I'm kind of embarrassed to tell my parents about it... The question is though, could this be something serious? Does anyone have any recommendations on what i should do?! I know i should see my doctor about this but as soon as I wake up in the morning, the pain is gone and i soon forget about it =/

  1. It could be blue balls. Blue balls is basically when you go on with sexual activity (or in this case masturbation) for a long time without release, your balls' fluid and blood become deprived of oxygen, and therefore you might have a pain there for a while.

If you deprive yourself of an o****m purposely, massage the s*****m or place a vibrator under your balls to prevent the blood and fluid from pooling.

If you are still concerned, see a doctor

  2. Just suck it up and see a doctor cos if your t******e feels like it has a bump or something in it it could be testicular cancer which hits when you're young.. so suck it up and see him asap!

  3. Thats exactly waht happened to me....I had the same symptoms for months, actually for about 2 years I had those symptoms....until one day I found a bulge in my upper pubic area.  I had developed an inguinal hernia.  I think the only thing to help a hernia or an approaching hernia is to where hernia briefs...but they are bulky...

To be safe, you should probably tell your doctor the next time you see him, just in case its something else.
