Rights of female on ancestor property?

If a daughter married on 1964 and the ancestor property was shared 2:1 and registered in 1984 with the son and the father,do she have rights on the brother property(Tamilnadu state) as the case filed on 1997 after the death of her father & mother(died on 2007).she has not asked her father when he was alive since they done everything.

It`s seemed like every state might not the same by law. This is no easy thing just answer Yes or No. I think it would be the best to ask for advise in legal aid or a solicitor.
