I have a 2007 Honda Accord V6 4DR and it has 17" stock rims on it... I want to get the same size rims but a different style like chrome. What do I have to do to the car to make it work or can i just buy the rims and put them on the car?

  1. as long as it has the bolt pattern that fits

also going chrome can be challenging

make sure you read and learn how to take care of chrome too

  2. as long as the rims have the holes in the correct place to fit, they will go straight on.

if the tyres are the same profile, then the speedo won't be affected either.

if you go from really chunky tyres to ultra skinny low profiles, the speedo readings will all be a bit out.

the people selling you the tyres should give you more info on this

  3. Get some Daytons

  4. You want to stay stock size and not upgrade?  If they are the same size(17"), same width (6.5") and same lug (5), all you do is buy them and put them on, no modification needed.  If you want bigger rims, ones that will work perfectly are 18x7.5 (7" width is ideal, but hard to find), they won't stick out.  I have 18x8's on my '03 Accord and they stick out a little bit, but not that much... they still look so good.  You don't need any modification for 18's or for some 19's (I don't suggest them).  If you got the same exact rim specs, on your new ones, you could use the tires for your stock rims if you wanted.  Hope this helps, feel free to email me if you have other questions.
