I have a 06 mitsubishi eclipse GT and I'd love to put some chrome 20's on her. Right now I have stock 18" aluminum with low profile tires. How big can I go, 5 bolt pattern aside and FWD. What about finding proper tires for the new rims that will fit the wheel well. What exactly is "offset" I know stock wheels are offset 35 but whats that mean lol.

  2. You can put 20's on it, the biggest size tire/rim combo you can use is 245/30-20.  http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.j...  The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types, zero offset, positve, and negative. (measured in millimeters) http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/tech...  You should get rims that have the same or as close to the same offset as your stock rims, if you don't you'll need spacers for proper fitment.  Hope this helps.
