Mixed martial arts (MMA) fans eagerly wait for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to host fights. For the MMA fans, the blood, sweat and the beating is what gives them the thrill and the chills. Another reason of joy for
these MMA fans are the UFC Ring Girls. The most famous UFC Ring Girl has to be Brittney Palmer, who is set to make her return at UFC 140 on December 10, 2011.
As fighters strike and pound each other for the win, the excited MMA and UFC fans chant and shout for their favourite fighters. The UFC Ring Girls hoist the match cards with round numbers and other details printed on them. They
do it before a fight begins and when new rounds start during fights.
Brittney Palmer, who resides in Las Vegas, will be making her much-anticipated return to the UFC on December 10, 2011 when UFC 140 takes place in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Standing in the UFC Ring Girl list as one of the
most talked about girl, Palmer has been a ring girl since January 2011. She made her debut as a UFC Ring Girl at UFC 125: Resolution when the event was held at her hometown of Las Vegas, in the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
On December 1, 2011, UFC officials confirmed the news that Palmer will be coming back at UFC 140 and would be taking over her job as a ring girl. Palmer, who used to be a ring girl for the World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) has been
with the UFC and enjoying the experience. When Palmer briefly left the UFC in July 2011, many thought if Palmer has been released by the UFC.
UFC CEO Dana White later confirmed that she was not released. White said, "nothing happened with Brittney Palmer. It's one of those situations where Brittney has moved onto other things. She's living in L.A. now. She wants to be
an artist and she's going to art school."
Palmer made her last appearance in UFC in July 2011 at UFC 132. The event was held in Las Vegas at the same venue where UFC 140 is scheduled to take place. Palmer, who is regarded as America’s favourite Ring Girl, is excited to
make her return to the UFC. She had to take a short leave from the UFC so she could focus on her personal life and her education.
