Ring of Death on 360?

Question

My buddy got a the red ring of death on his 360 last week. So, this morning I took my Elite 360 to his house and we used his cables and his storage. Well not more than 30 min after the red ring appeared on my console. I havent tryed plugging it back into my cables but what happened. Is mine broken now or was it just because I was using his stuff?

Heres a funny story... That happended to my Xbox arcade... and I unplugged it and plugged it back in, didn't change it then I kicked it over and it worked!!!

i dont have a 360 but ive heard of the ring of death

and no it doesnt matterif you used his stuff my cousin brought his 360 on my birthday and it worked out just fine

well there is different rings and when there is 3 it means a hardware failure and 99% of the time just call microsoft ship it in and then they wikll ship you a new one, but just try going home unplugging then plugging in all the cables make sure thier plugged into the wall good and try turning it on
