  1. Use your hair dryer.

Ive done this to 'repair' quite a few wood surfaces myself, being an old woodworker, hehehe.

Put the hair dryer on low heat setting, and gently move the air back and forth across the surface.  What you've got is moisture trapped inside the finish.  The heated air will help evaporate the moisture from the finish.  The trick is to not damage the finish itself, by letting it get too hot.

Im sure you'll get other suggestions too... like mayonaisse, or cigarette ash... In my opinion those are too messy... all you need to do is remove the trapped moisture, and the hair dryer is the easiest method.

Do NOT sand the finish down.... thats not needed for this type of situation, tho, Ive seen it recommended, lol
