The stamina of all runners will be put to a stern test today, as they will have to cover an overall distance of 3 miles and 2 furlongs. The race is scheduled to start at 17:45 GMT and a total of eight entries have been confirmed for it. Their names are as
follows: Ringa Bay, Alpine Breeze, Little Legend, Behind The Scenes, Mut´ab, Lead It Well, Broughton Green and Saddlers Blaze.
Looking at the overall statistics of all runners, the bookies believe that Ringa Bay will dominate proceedings at Folkestone. He is carrying excellent rhythm at the moment, which will encourage the punters to place the maximum number of bets in his favour.
The seven-year-old gelding has participated in three races until now, winning a couple of them. This goes onto show that he is a fierce competitor and will make things extremely difficult for his rivals.
In his most recent outing, the Raymond York’s trainee was rated as the favourite to win and he managed to live up to the expectations of everyone in the end. He won that event by more than one length and a similar show would ensure him another triumphant
run.
Ringa Bay will be partnered by Mr P. York, who has participated in quite a few chase races until now, but has managed to win just eight of them. He will need to bring a lot more consistency in his performances in order to attract more bets in the future.
On the other hand, Alpine Breeze also has very good chances of finishing on top of the table at Folkestone, as she is in good form. She has taken part in 10 events until now, winning four of them and securing one runner up and third place finish each.
The six-year-old mare managed to win in her most recent outing, which shows that she is carrying terrific momentum. However, it will be a tough challenge for her to compete against Ringa Bay.
