Ringer Volume on BlackBerry Burve 8310?

I cannot find the options to adjust the volume on my ringer. What the heck? This smart phone is bit too smart for me! I just cannot find the feature for this, I went to the manual on line and the instructions just did not coincide with my phone. Please help, this thing rings too loud!

You can adjust the volume by going to your Profile Settings. From the home screen go to Profiles > Advanced. Highlight the profile that says 'Active' next to hit, press the BlackBerry menu key (the one with the dots on it), then choose Edit. Scroll down and highlight Phone, then press the Track Ball. You should be able to adjust the volume there.
