Ringing in my left ear after gun shooting?

3 days ago i went to indoor gun shooting, i couldn't hear my friend talking so I removed the ear protection for just 4 seconds for my left ear and it is buzzing and ringing since. anybody had this experence before. thanx for help

The ringing will eventually go away, but if you do this several times, you will have permanent ringing and hearing loss.

Check out some of the electronic noise cancellation hearing protectors available.  You can hear fine, but they shut down at 80db so they block out the gun noise.
