  1. I guess they are eager to push the button!

  2. Why do people stand up to leave airplanes before the engines are off, despite being asked to remain seated. Why do people use mobile phones during takeoff putting everyone on board at risk. Some people are stupid.

  3. maybe they want the stop the bus is already at and the driver forgot to

    open the backdoor?

  4. to 'p' us all of...driver included.

  5. Just to let the driver know that they would like to get off at the next stop.

It is better then waiting until the last second, yes?

I would do this for sure especially if I was unfamiliar with where exactly the next stop was. By rining it as soon as I can I can just sit back and relax, talk, or whatever and not have to worry about looking out the window for the stop.

  6. People are hasty and like pushing buttons

  7. Maybe cos they're silly kids having fun with the bell, annoying the driver & other passengers. They don't even want to get off. Or they're people who suddenly decided they missed their stop. Or they're people who rang the bell too soon & won't even be ready (by the doors) when the bus does stop.

  8. Where I'm from in Indiana you do that to let the driver know you want to get off at the next corner.Letting the driver know ahead of time is good since the next corner might me really close from the last stop.

  9. Yeah people used to do this to me but they soon learned not too! My short term memory is so p*ss poor, I would forget and drive straight past - and when they finally got me to stop and started moaning, I would say, well if you rang it as we came up and not 1/2 hour before....I wouldn't have forgot!!

Its like the old ladies who ask you not to pull off until they have sat down - fair enough, but why the h**l, when they wanna get off, do they start walking down to the front - lurching about the place - before you've stopped??!!

Some people are here just to test our patience!

  10. Just to let the bus driver know that you want to get off at the next stop lol

  11. Could be they don't KNOW where the next stop is - they just know which one it is after or the rough area.

  12. This happen lots of time on Westchester County Bee-Line buses.

In Westchester County, some street that Bee-Line travels does not have street name to indicate what bus stop is this.

Folks communiting on Bee-Line bus is very hard for some people and they press too late.

Same thing happened with MTA Long Island Bus.

Some people don't know how you can requested, like on NYC bus. We mostly used press tape or STOP button, but on some of our buses, we pulled cord.

Some folks are not familar with bus stop.
