Ringing when subs hit?

ok... so i have a box with two subs in it and it sounds great and all but, when i open the trunk to listen to them whenever they hit they make like a ringing noise or like they shake.. im sure this is a common error in wiring or somthing

  1. Make sure there are no holes in the box, as even the smallest hole can cause some turbulence. Also, make sure the subs are screwed all the way down. If they are sounding great, it's not wiring.


  2. A lot of the time, that ringing, or metallic ping sound, means that the subs are blown. Hopefully that's not your case, but it could be *eek*
