I cant seem to find a website that tells you how to do ringlets curls for relaxed african american hair. Anyone knows of a website or knows how to do it and what products to use?

  1. I'm african american, and I have the same questions too!  Right now I have a kinky twist, but when cross country season is over, I get relaxers normally, when Im not running 24/7 sweating my hair out. I might a site, but if youhave anyother sites with hair ideas  email me, cuz I have no source of ideas!

  2. If you are using a curling iron, start by blow drying the hair straight with a blow dryer comb or a styling brush. When dry and fairly straight, make a part at the back of the neck from the left side of your head to the right side, around 1 inch from the hair line. Take small sections from that row of hair, curing towards the head of the curling iron. When you are finished with that row, make a new row directly above and start curing again in small sections. As you make new rows, the curls should sit on top of the previous row. A professional curling iron will make the curls hold tighter and last longer.

If you want to curl with regular curlers, I would suggest going to the hair dresser first, and take note of what they do. I find it really hard to use curlers and I prefer if the hair dresser does it.
