on those ringtone sites where all u do is enter your phone number and some other simple information (E-mail, maybe name, etc.) when they text you it says 9.99/month..

i accidentally did one of these and seconds later i cancelled my "subscription". i was wondering if they will charge me since i canceled it so quick. And im also wondering if they can charge me at ALL since there was no credit card entered.

  1. most likely you will recieve a charge on your bill. you can try and dispute it and try to get credited back for the charge. but since it was technically your doing... they may not. i work in a call center for Verizon Wireless and i don't credit these charges on peoples' bill. i have recieved charges like these not even knowing where they came from... and i ust paid it. i usually give my customers the phone number to call for the business that charged the 9,99 (premium text message), the company credits them for the charges and will also credit any charges that may show up in the future... so thats a plus :)

good luck. it really depends on what representative you get... most will direct you to the business that charged you :) good luck!

PS::: even tho there was no credit card entered... it put the charge on your phone... so you will see the charge on your next bill... it bills directly to the acct.

To avoid being charged in the future... i use myxer.com. these are free ringtones :) some do have $.99 price tags by them so look out for those... but i have a million ringtones from this site and got them all for free :) a select few cost 99 cents... like i said be aware.... dont say i didnt warn you :) but the ringtones are great!

  2. Probably on your phone bill. You should try phonezoo.com. They're COMPLETELY free and they have a lot of features.

  3. yes they can charge you..

    You should try Ventones.com

that site its really free and safe

its the only site i trust ...they have never charged me anything..

  4. yes they can charge you, & probably will, you activated the account, & for that there is a fee, doesn't matter that you canceled so quickly!!!!

  5. Yes, they can charge you on your phone bill. If you do see the charge on the phone bill, simply call up your cell phone provider, explain to them what happened, and they will usually take the charge off for you.
