  1. i think you spell that wrong but i sure they could use your help check yahoo local search for churches in that area.

  2. Rio de Janeiro needs A LOT of help, but, then again, so does nycity and chicago and miami and atlanta and dallas and la and sanfrancisco, oakland, sandiego, and on and on, here in the USA.  If you really want to be of help, stick around here.  We've got PLENTY of need.  God Bless you.

  3. Let's get real, in another question you asked, you said you loved to travel and experience culture but had no money.

Now you pop up as a missionary?  Rio de Janeiro is a thriving major city in a great country.  But as others have observed, there's plenty of poverty, there are slums and if you really want to help, find and identify an organization that's already there and send the money which an airline ticket would cost directly to the church.

They have all the help they need, in the form of human labor, one more kid from the USA isn't going to be useful at all.

You and your group will do far more good for your own people right here in the USA...........that is, if you're genuinely concerned.........

  4. Actually, Rio has a huge load of places like this! I can't list all of them, but you MUST visit "Igreja da Candelaria" and "Mosteiro de Sao Bento".

Amazing architecture! Search for images of them!
