Rio Ferdinand backs Harry Redknapp to become England manager

Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello’s resignation.
Following the FA’s decision to sack http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anton-Ferdinand-c6260, Capello went on to resign, as he didn’t agree with the FA.
With the team now without a manager, it is up to the FA to go on and hire someone to take over, in time for the new manager to be able to adapt to the team before the Euro 2012.
However, Ferdinand has now gone on to reveal that Capello and his language barrier often hindered his ability to get across to the fans. As a result, the defender would prefer to have an English speaking manager.
The United centre back has also admitted that it would be a smart choice to pick Harry Redknapp as the next http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager.
While talking about the situation via his Twitter account, the defender is quoted to have said: "I think we need an English manager now, we don't need anything else lost in translation"
 "Harry Redknapp would be my choice by a distance."
The England international also went on to reveal that he didn’t want to focus on trying to becoming England’s next captain, as he doesn’t want to deal with the added pressure that you get from the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. The defender admitted that his prime focus was to make
the United starting eleven and that is all that he was focusing on.
Ferdinand then ended by stating:  "I don't want to be England captain after the last episode, just want to concentrate on playing for United and if I make the squad then as ever I'll be delighted"
The FA have not yet gone on to shortlist anyone to become England’s next manager. However, the way things are shaping up, Redknapp is being hailed as the favourite to come in and take over where Capello left out.
With the Euro 2012 just a couple of months away, the FA are going to have to step up their pursuit to land a manager, or they could risk watching the national team falling apart during the tournament.
