Manchester United could be heading into their game with Arsenal without Rio Ferdinand, as the player is yet to recover from a concussion.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rio-Ferdinand-c31173 was part of the United squad that took on Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League and the defender went on to suffer a concussion in the game.
The player is more than likely going to have to pass a series of tests and a late fitness test, if he is to stand any chance of playing against Arsenal, but looking at the way things are shaping up, the player seems to be a major doubt for the game.
Ferdinand revealed on Twitter, that his concussion was yet to recover completely and that following him regaining consciousness after the game, he didn’t remember anything from the match.
Originally, based on the rules for players suffering concussions, the defender would have had to sit out for ten days, before he could be considered to play for the team. However, given the more relaxed rules that are being introduced in regards to injuries, the defender could play, should he pass a very late medical and fitness test.

As a result, the manager would prefer to have at least one experienced defender, instead of using younger players, or midfielders in the heart of his defence.
The last time United met Arsenal in the Premier League, the Red Devils cruised to an eight goals to two victory.
However, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 now looking to avenge that defeat, United can’t let themselves slack off, or get too complacent in the game.
At the same time, the team needs to have all its experienced players in the starting eleven, or they could potentially end up losing to the Gunners.
Should that happen, United could face a massive stumbling block in their hopes to winning the Premier League title, allowing Manchester City to have the bragging rights at the end of the season.
