Ripleys/Atlantas aquarium mini vacation for ages 5-12?

I was planning a mini vacation for me and my family but I was wondering if anybody knows if Ripleys aquarium better the Atlantas aquarium? or do you have in other ideas......

I haven't been to either of them, but someone I work with has and she said she liks the Ripley's aquarium much better.  She said the Atlanta one, although it's very big and nice, just doesn't have the excitement that the Ripley's aquarium has.  She loved the whale sharks, which is their biggest attraction, but other than that, she said the aquarium was pretty much a bore compared to Ripley's.
