Rise To Glory headed to glorify her record with a hat trick by winning the Its Your Final Chance To Pick A Winner 550 at Harold’s Cross
Harold’s Cross will host the Grade A4 Its Your Final Chance To Pick A Winner 550 over 550 yards flat on Monday, 30th April. Curryhills Time, Rise To Glory, Trick Diamond, Flying Nikita, Harrys Fancy and The Other Candy are taking part in the race tonight. The prize money set for the race was €215.
Among all the candidates, Rise To Glory, Montos Carhumore’s two-year-old blue and brindle daughter out of b***h, Cailin Liath, is the most accomplished. Out of the seven races that she has taken part in this season, Rise To Glory has won thrice.
She slipped into the new season on 21st January over 525 yards. She completed the trip in 29.34 seconds and led the runner up, Langan Blocks, by two lengths.
In order to retain the consistency in the performance of the two-year-old, the trainer, J. Hand made Rise To Glory practice over 324 yards at Harold’s Cross on 21st February. She was able to time the distance in 18.17 seconds.
The training did not prove out to be worthwhile as the race right after that had her finishing third behind the winner by taking 29.42 seconds. The Grade A4 Find Us On Facebook A4 525 Round 1 Heat 1 on 12th March at Harold’s Cross was won by Lady Blackpool who reached the other end of the wire in 29.42 seconds and was entered as the 4/7 favourite.
She ended third in two more races and then finished sixth in the third last attempt. She was successful in the last two races that she took part in.
On 17th April, Rise To Glory won the Grade A5 The Gain Products On Sale 525 at Harold’s Cross by timing the track distance in 29.71 seconds. The 4/5 favourite winner of the race led the runner up, Kilara Nixi, by four lengths.
Settling third behind the winner after taking 30.07 seconds was Eastend Tommy.
The last race and win till yet was in the Race Sponsorship 525 on 24th April at Harold’s Cross which she rested after racing for 29.58 seconds. She led the 6/4 favourite runner up of the race, Calverstown Ivy, by three and a half lengths.
Coming at terms with the third position behind the winner was Coolnagun.
Rise To Glory is heading for striking the seasonal hat trick today.
