Rising and Moon sign..saving grace?

I'm a Cancer, my boyfriend is an Aquarius. Match made in he11 right? He does display a lot of Aquarian traits; he likes to be alone a majority of the time and being a Cancer, that bothers me. Sometimes I find him rather boring. Cancers are supposed to be homebodies, and I'm far from a homebody, I love to go out and have fun. I don't party because I hate big social gatherings but I sure as heck don't like staying at home. And well, he does. None the less we've made it, barely..almost an entire year and with all the negative things said about a Cancer and Aquarius pairing..I wondered how. Until I looked at both our full birth charts. My moon is in Leo, which might explain why I'm not so much of a homebody. His moon is in Aries. Looking at just the sun sign Leo and Aries, the match doesn't seem too bad but looking at just Leo and Aries as a moon sign it says we are VERY compatible. I'm a Pisces rising and he's a Cancer rising. Well as you know sun signs Pisces and Cancer are pretty much soul mates, not to mention my sun sign IS a Cancer. I'm not too sure how to compare rising signs but Cancer and Pisces is pretty good imo. Could these factors really determine why we're still together or am I way off?

Moon and RIsing signs do actually contribute slightly to relationships, but you should direct your gaze slightly lower in the charts to the Venus and Mars placements..

If your Venus and Mars are compatible you should be able to work it out whether your Suns hate each other or are in perfect harmony ^^

They definitely factor in. Especially because the moon sign is how you handle emotions, and if you both if you have fire signs as your emotions that could both explain why (as it seems) that you guys have been barely hanging on (I'm gonna guess due to many explosive fights). The positive side to this is that you are both willing to get things going and have the gusto to fix a problem when there is one. You should also check out your venus and mercury signs because those are important too. Cancer and Aquarius typically do not match up but horoscopes are not everything, it's also chemistry that fits into it too. Good luck!
