  1. Demand has something to do with it...as the media will tell you...as they are told to tell you by forces at work wanting to keep the people under control. Food, too. What better way to ensure compliance? Control the price of your food, control your movements, and make sure you're lining the pockets of the powers that be in the process. Google Earth, Google Streetview...nifty, cool apps, aren't they? Think that's just something Google popped up with for your amusement? And now Google wants your medical records, too?

"Wow!" you say, "how handy is that?" Uh huh.

    Control.

  2. i heard that we take oil from other countries and we have plenty of oil in out country but they are "afraid"of using it because they think we will run out of it when i heard that it would at least keep us good for 50 years or so and the gas prices would be so much lower/cheaper if they would just use our oil not other countries! its confusing, but once we get obama to be our president everything will be all good. =]

  3. Does pure dipshitery count as an answer?  Supply and demand have not been out of whack - or not so out of whack to cause the type of increase we have seen.  Speculators have run the price up, and now it is spiralling out of control.
