which one decides the way you look...

my rising sign is scorpio and my mars is pisces

which one influences the way i look? and for proof, what do you think i look like based in this?

The rising sign gves the appearance and any additional aspects made form planets to the Ascendant adds a trait to your personality as well as your appearance.

Planets rising also affect. Mars gives a scar or birth mark on the part of the body of the sign it is in. Mercury tends to give a more developed forehead., Uranus gives a specific look to the eyes. etc..

The ruler of the Ascendant also plays a rule. We have to look at the whole chart because it is obvious that you cannot have the traits of all the 12 signs in an appearance. The dominating planets give important clues as well.

Scorpio rising gives a sharp piercing look and the eyes are often dark. The person is not tall,medium size, well-set body and quite robust. This is a scorpion trait. The look is shrewd and the hair is dark brown, usually curly or bushy and plentiful. Sometimes, the hair is chestnut depending.

The rising degrees and decanate have to be taken into account as well.

edit....Pisces decanate means the first decanate. The first 5 deg makes a person taller of middle proportion with broad sholders, not fat. The face is usually long, the hair brown and the eyes sunken a little. The chin is narrow, the mouth large.

Now, the last 5 deg of the first decan give a fuller face, clearer skin, a more pleasant look, lighter hair, large eyebrows. The legs are long, as well as the fingers, arms.
