Question:

Risk of miscarriage after LEEP??

I'm 20 years old and about a month ago my pap smear came back abnormal so I had a colposcopy the next week, after that my doctor told me I had moderate dysplasia and I had a LEEP done last Tuesday. My doctor told me there was an extremely slim chance of risk in pregnancy after this procedure but I've been researching on the internet today and it seems like the risk of problems is actually quite high, at least it seems this way to me. I have one child but I def. want more. Has anyone had any personal experience with pregnancy after LEEP?

  1. i had a LEEP done almost 3 yrs ago.. when i was about 16 1/2 because of having cervical cancer.. and i am now 20 also and 4 months pregnant so i wouldnt say there are any problems and when i went for my prenatal visit and the doctor checked everything out she said it didnt even look like i had the procedure done... GOOD LUCK and dont believe everything you read on the internet..
