  1. studies have so far shown that tv, computer, like reading in low light causes only eye strain, not any permenant damage....yet.

  2. First, photophobia, or light sensitivity, can be a symptom of various eye problems, some of which are very serious- or it can be harmless. In any case, visit an ophthalmologist to ensure that it is a 'harmless' case.

In regards to eye drops, DON'T use that visine c**p. You want to be using preservative free vials- much better for your eyes! I highly highly recommend  one called 'refresh endura' or 'refresh dry eye'- it lasts very long, is very soothing, and is preservative free.

TV and computer use in itself is not harmful nor dangerous- the risk is in eye strain from focusing at the same distance for extended periods of time. Every once in a while, at least every half hour, stare out a window at a distant object- if you don't have a window, stare at the farthest thing in your room.

  3. even if your vision is not blurred you should have your eyes checked, light sensitivity and headaches are a sign of eyes a changing.
