  4. I think that the risks are very low. Many states do not allow pools in centers.  So usually kids are running through a sprinkler, where the water is clean and circulated.  Or there is a water table full of water.  It is also a liscencing rule that the water be changed daily, so it is not like they are playing in stagnant water.  I guess young children could drown, but there really is not water very deep....

  5. I know that certain fungi like Ringworm can be transmitted through the water....

  6. -drowning-yes even in shallow water!

-spread of disease-transmitted through water and the toys in the water.

    -slipping over on spilled water.

-children drinking it and spitting back in(it happens!!!)-hygiene issue

-allergic reactions if bubbles or food colouring added.

-getting wet-and if room is not suitable temperature child can get chill and poorly!

  7. Slipping is the biggest risk so keep the area around the water tray as dry as you can, regularly checking and encouraging the children to be vigilant. Also, childre should be encouraged to wear aprons to keep their clothes as dry as possible to avoid getting cold. Other than that as long as the water is clean there are no real risks. Children need regular opportunities to play with water.

  8. On risk is water spilling over on the floor and making it slippery. A child or an adult could slip and fall and have a really bad injury.

  9. Um, I think there's this thing called drowning. It's when you like, swallow water and you can't breathe, I think.

  10. *it can get in someone's eyes

    *they can fall from it

  11. drowning and ear infections

  12. I assume you are talking about a water table or something like one. The risks are minimal as long as the children wash their hands before playing and the water is changed at the end of each session. It is the best play for children who need soothing and a great way to learn some scientific principles.
