Ritchie waters for horses?

Question

I'm not sure I want to spend the big bucks and not do some checking has anyone heard of them and do the tank really not freeze and work as good as they claim? If it matters I'm looking at the single AC 1 series, Sounds good and they have been around for 85 yrs, but what do you think? Thanks a head of time:)
