Riu Cancun or Oasis Cancun?

Where should when me and 5 of my friends go to cancun? We are between the age of 22 and 25.

Which has a nicer beach area near it?

when are you going?

if you're going during spring break, i suggest the oasis cancun, ive been there last month for the canadian spring break and it was AMAZING! hard core partying and get to meet so many cool people, you really have to be up for the 24/7 partying though, its only young people at the hotel, if ur planning to relax, go somewhere else

I stayed at the RIU cancun for my senior year sb in '07, I got kicked out of the hotel though. It was really nice though. The beach was amazing there.

I got to stay at two all-inclusive hotels for my sb, how many people get to say that...ha

the riu cancun is absolutely beautiful! my husband and i are the same age and we had a wonderful time there!

Why are you limiting yourselves to just those two hotels?

Both are on the beach. The Oasis is on open sea and the Riu is on the bay protected by Isla Mujeres. So, Oasis beach "can" have waves and the Riu doesn't. Personally, I would choose the open ocean beach it seems cleaner.

Just for the "heck" of it please check out the Palace Resorts. You can stay at one and use the facilities at all.
