Just wonder if you can go to the beach at nite and have a few drinks with the ole lady?

With 400 rooms it shouldn't be baron.

Remember there is safety in numbers

If you are talking very late, then no. Not recommended

That whole area is one of the safest anywhere but always a good idea not to get complacent.  Keep your whits about you.

Most tourists that have been injured , robbed or worse have usualy been in remote areas.  With many exceptions of course

Im guessing rui playacar is a resort.. in mexico you can drink on the beach at any time. the beach doesnt close. drinking doesnt end. espeically in playa del carmen. so have fun all nite long on the beach with the booze. not so much the weed, that draws attention. so have fun. yes, i am very certain of this rule. i lived in playa.
