Riu Tropical Bay....or Clubhotel Riu??

Question

Ok....so i've decided Jamaica over Cuba, Negril over Montego Bay, now can some of you lovely people out there give me some advice on which of these hotels are the best??

I'm going with my other half, so there are no kids, so not looking for somewhere largely child orientated.

How far are these hotels from the town? i've stayed in a riu hotel before and thought they were amazing....but am having trouble seeing which one of these is a better bet!

Yes Cazza is right, my brother and his GF went there, it is Fab,off thier video, couples only too, no Children.

He said Food was Great, Staff Really friendly and helpful, Loads to do.

sandal's without a doubt,it may be a little expensive but if you want a holiday of a lifetime then this is the hotel you want,i was there in march just gone,its fully inclusive,you watch the chefs at work,the food is out of this world,the beach is amazing,snorkeling sailing its pure heaven,the town is about 20Min's away on a free bus via the hotel,its a must enjoy if you do decide,I'm sure you will.

CRAZY--I was just trying to figure that out.  I'm not 100% but i think he clubhotel allows children and tropical bay is adults only.  I know i checked and tropical bay was more $$ and i couldn't choose the room as far as having a balcony?!?!?

My friend has a co-worker that i got most of my info from.  He has gone every year for the past 16 years!! Bob recommended negril for sure, its beachs are private (no panhandlers trying to sell you c**p) and i guess is it a very private and pretty area and sunsets are to die for. I will ask him in the AM and write you back.

I am not sure no one seems to know.  But Sandals is a superclub and the extras are sometimes not really worth the extra 200 or so a night. Plus Sandals jamacia is on a public beach and pan handlers are constantly trying to sell you crafts and dope.
