River Rhapsody all set to make his mark at Sedgefield in the Free Betting With Freebetting.co.uk Handicap Chase
With River Rhapsody’s improving racing technique, he is likely to cause a stir at Sedgefield on 13th March, 2012. He will be running with Strathaird, Braddock Island, Mickey Monk, Tipsy Indian, Ice Image, Lerida and Rince Donn
in the Free Betting With Freebetting.co.uk Handicap Chase, which is run over a distance of 2 miles and 110 yards for £1,819.
Trained by Evan Williams, the six-year-old gelding is likely to deliver a sound performance. He was the mount of Paul Moloney in the HV Serviceplan Supporting BCCT Handicap Chase, which took place at Lingfield on 8th November,
2011.
He finished as a runner-up, as he was defeated by, Goring One, by a massive margin of 12 lengths.
Despite the large difference in the margin, River Rhapsody’s owners, Mr. & Mrs. Vasicek, are hoping that he will bounce back in this race.
Strathaird is also of interest to the bookmakers, as he acquired a placed finish in the Digibet Handicap Chase, held at Sedgefield, on 4th March, 2012. The eight-year-old gelding was sent as the joint favourite with the odds
of 4 to 1.
Andrew Crook is hoping that his gelding will be able to bring home a bigger prize, compare to what he did last time around.
The son of Medicean, out of Heed My Warning, finished as a runner-up in the No Risk With Betangel Practice Mode Novices’ Handicap Chase, which took place on 15th February, 2012, at Southwell. He was defeated by 11 lengths by
the race favourite, Esteem.
If the gelding brings his best game forward, he has the capability to crush all competition.
Braddock Island, son of Rock City, out of mare Bally Small, has managed to attract some attention from the bookmakers. This is based on the fact that the nine-year-old gelding has raced well on a sound surface before.
Trained by Sheila Sunter, the gelding has shown potential to improve. He finished fourth in the Digibet Handicap Chase at Sedgefield on 4th March, 2012.
His form can improve, and he can easily secure a placed position as he has done before in the Skeeby Handicap Chase on 30th November, 2011. He was defeated by the joint favourites On Gossamer Wings and Tregaro.
The bookmakers will be watching these runners closely, especially River Rhapsody. He was race favourite in three of his last five races. Due to his victory in the Bob Davies A Lifetime In Racing Handicap Chase at Ludlow on 20th October,
2011 against Jim Tango, it is speculated that he will emerge from this race as a victor.
The second place is likely to be acquired by Braddock Island. This speculation is based on his past performance and his familiarity with the track.
Strathaird is likely to secure a finish in third place based on his recent finishes, but he might be able to gain pace and finish in the first two places.
