Rizla Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista aims to make his Japanese team proud at Twin Ring Motegi – MotoGP
Rizla Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista is aiming to give a stunning performance at the home event for his team, the Japanese Grand Prix.
The 15th MotoGP event, Grand Prix of Japan will be taking place on October 2, 2011 at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit.
The Spanish rider delivered a promising performance in 2010 at his home event, Motorland Aragon. Bautista finished in sixth position after beating Ducati factory rider Nicky Hayden. While chasing for sixth place in the race, he also beat satellite Ducati
rider Hector Barbera.
Alvaro Bautista said, “I cannot wait to get back on the bike and continue with the work from the recent races. I am really excited by the way things have been going and know we still have some more steps to take, so Motegi will be a good place to make even
further improvements.”
After a strong race weekend at Aragon, he is determined to start his Japanese race weekend from where he left at Spain. Bautista is looking forward to pay his tribute to Japan and Suzuki for being a strong support for him.
During the 2011 MotoGP season, Alvaro Bautista and Suzuki have covered many steps ahead in progress. Since the start of the ongoing season, Suzuki are now constantly able for challenge the top six slots in the races.
While running at Jerez, John Hopkins also admired the progress made by Suzuki. He stated that the present race package of Suzuki GSV-R is far better than he used to race with.
Bautista said, “This is a really important race for Suzuki and all the Japanese people, we have been able to show support on the bike for the country at all the races since the awful disaster, but now we can go there in person and show them that we really
are with them.”
Bautista further said that it can be an emotional event with respect to a home event for the manufacturer. He said that a stunning performance will provide happiness and moment of joy to the nation of Japan and his team at Rizla Suzuki.
